For those who have taken either some or all of EBMC’s 5-month
“Buddhist core teachings in Jan – May 2020, this is a wrap-up
class where you can bring your “biggest” Buddhist practice
questions, meet Dharma companions on the Path, and rejoice in the
merit that you have generated! Please note: The focus of this class is
on what you are doing to deepen your spiritual practice and to
transform your life through these wisdom teachings. In place of a
potluck, have your favorite beverage near your computer to toast one
another in virtual Sangha!
REGISTERED PARTICIPANTS WILL RECEIVE A ZOOM LINK TO JOIN US ONLINE
WITH THEIR CONFIRMATION EMAIL.

EBMC TEACHERS ARE NOT PAID BY THE CENTER. YOU ARE INVITED TO OFFER A
VOLUNTARY FINANCIAL GIFT TO THEM AT THE CLASS. The East Bay
Meditation Center operates using a generosity-based, gift economics
model. This means we charge no set registration fees to attend our
events and instead rely on the generous giving of our community. All
classes at the Center do come with a financial cost. Class
participants are offered an opportunity to make a voluntary gift to
EBMC during the registration process or at an event itself. Please
note that no one will be turned away for lack of funds.

Teacher Bio:
MUSHIM IKEDA [http://www.mushimikeda.com] is a core teacher at EBMC.
Her Buddhist training has included both monastic and lay experience in
North America and Asia since 1982. She teaches Practice in
Transformative Action, an award-winning yearlong program of
mindfulness training for social justice activists at EBMC, and is the
recipient of an honorary doctor of sacred theology degree from the
Starr King School for the Ministry.
