Lucy Southern jazz violin & Sam Rudin on piano at The Back Room

Lucy SOUTHERN NOW LIVING IN PARIS AND TOULOUSE, is originally from the Bay Area. She has performed jazz VIOLIN WITH RENOWNED MUSICIANS IN THE PARISIAN JAZZ SCENE, Eva Slongo and Philippe Mallard. Lucy studied at the Didier Lockwood school and Pierre Blanchard at the Aubervilliers Conservatory. Her group, the Gypsy Messengers, played at the annual Django Reinhardt Festival in Paris. She has performed in popular venues such as the L'Eglise de la Madeleine in Paris, Café Jazz Montparnasse, the Andernos Jazz Festival, and more.
