On the the WEEKEND OF JULY 17-18th, 2020 expect nothing less than a
Bay Area invasion of high quality, fist pumping, boot stomping,
working class street punk and Oi! in the heart of downtown OAKLAND.
South Bay based promoter Shark City United is proud to bring you
UNDERNEATH THE UNDERGROUND FOR THE 9TH YEAR IN A ROW; this time in a
brand new location near Jack London Square.As a special treat, Shark
City United is bringing legendary band Forced Reality to the fest for
not only 1, but 2 nights of skinhead rock n’ roll. This is only the
second appearance Forced Reality has ever made on the west coast, the
first time being in 2014. UTU IX features an impressive two day lineup
of acts considered to be household names in the punk rock community
and beyond as well as many up and coming acts. Some, like Liberty &
Justice from Houston and Press Gang Union from SLC are currently
touring and stopping through Oakland to promote brand new albums.
Bay Area based Underneath the Underground is a street punk festival
featuring Oi!, punk rock, and other assorted acts within the greater
punk & hardcore communities held annually under the watchful eye &
diligent supervision of Shark City United. Underneath the Underground
held its inaugural event in 2011, & the 2020 lineup is as follows:

Underneath the Underground street punk fest is happening July 17-18th
at the Elbo Room in Oakland, CA, located at 300 Broadway. Weekend
