REGISTRATION OPENS DECEMBER 15, 2026 8TH GRADE JR. HIGH GRAD BASH AT
UNIVERSAL STUDIOS 2026 FRIDAY , May 22, 20263:30 pm to 2:00 am
LOCATION: BUSES WILL BE DEPARTING FROM AND ARRIVING AT OXNARD POLICE
ACTIVITIES LEAGUE PAL GYM 350 S. K ST. $140 PER TICKET
This excursion is open to 2026 promoting 8th grade students
$140 FEE COVERS ADMISSION, TRANSPORTATION AND PROGRAM ADMINISTRATION .
Universal Studios will have exclusive hours from 8 pm to 12 midnight
for eight grade junior high students on the night of the event. THIS
IS A PRIVATE EVENT AND THE PARK WILL NOT HONOR SEASON PASSES OR ANY
OTHER TICKETS. We will only be selling 1,600 tickets on a first come
first based basis. Once we sell 1,600 no more will be sold.
TICKET SALES Tickets sales will start on DECEMBER 15 THROUGH MARCH 26
at $140 per ticket. Sales will be online at www.oxnardrec.org only
with credit card and at the Recreation office located at 305 W. Third
St., Oxnard, CA 93030. We will be accepting, cash, checks payable to
City of Oxnard and credit/debit cards.Sales will be during regular
business hoursMonday - Thursday 9 am to 6 pm, alternating Fridays 9 am
- 5 pm.
Boarding passes are available for pick up starting February 23 at the
Recreation Office, 305 W. Third St. Oxnard . The participants need
their 2025/2026 school picture ID with visible ID number, as well as
online sales receipt and waiver signed by a legal parent or guardian
release form are required in order to receive your boarding pass.
No Refunds will be given after 5 pm on April 2, 2026. Participants
cancelling will be charged a 20% service fee to ensure the
continuation of the program for other students.
ADDITIONAL EVENT INFORMATION Buses will begin boarding from 3:30 pm to
5 pm. and departing from OXNARD PAL GYM. Buses will return at
approximately 1:45 am. For their safety participants must be picked up
inside the OXNARD PAL GYM. NO OTHER PASSES WILL BE ACCEPTED, THIS IS A
PRIVATE EVENT.
Students'/Chaperones' clothes must be in good taste and condition,
nothing revealing, no crop tops, short shorts. Please see detailed
information on pamphlet. Participants failing to comply will be sent
home. No alcoholic beverages or drugs including vapes allowed.
Participants will be subject to inspection before departure and before
entering the park. No lazers, food, gum, or drinks are allowed.
Participants will be assigned to a bus at the departure location.
Before departing, students will be read the rules of Universal
Studios. Once off the bus, attendees will be free to enjoy the park.
Should participants need assistance during the event City staff will
be available at the Chaperone Headquarters located by the main gate
inside the park.
Registration is not complete until participant's Minor Release form is
completed and turned in during boarding pass pick up. Universal
Studios' complete participant guidelines will be distributed with
boarding passes.
