TOOL FOR INTERDISCIPLINARY INSTRUCTION THAT SPANS SCIENCE, language,
and art. * Experience an introduction to the world of NATURE
JOURNALING WITH NATURALIST, artist, and educator JOHN MUIR LAWS

designed to help you tune into the wild around you, from the
industrial neighborhood surrounding The Foster to one of our region's
beautiful open space preserves. * Build connections between your
experiences during the INSTITUTE AND CONTENT, curriculum, and
standards at your grade level with support from SANDI YELLENBERG

your classroom next school year. All experience levels welcome.
All participants will receive a copy of John Muir Laws and Emilie
Lygren's new book, "How to Teach Nature Journaling" as well as
introductory nature journaling materials.
