Intro to Copperplate Calligraphy Workshop - 4hrs

In this INTRODUCTORY WORKSHOP FOR POINTED PEN CALLIGRAPHY STUDENTS WILL LEARN THE ESSENTIAL CONCEPTS OF CALLIGRAPHY AND BUILD A SOLID BASE TO WRITE WITH AN OBLIQUE DIP PEN AND A FLEXIBLE NIB. They will acquire an understanding of the main tools and proper techniques. Traditional COPPERPLATE LOWERCASE WILL BE COVERED IN THIS 4 HRS. WORKSHOP AND STUDENTS WILL BE ABLE TO PRACTICE ON THEIR OWN WITH THE KIT PROVIDED TO TAKE HOME.This is a really fun, no-pressure workshop for anyone interested in learning a new skill, picking up a fun hobby, artist looking to try a new technique/medium, or just something fun to do with friends. Suitable for beginners, those who have never picked up a calligraphy pen before, or if it's been a while and you want to brush up on your skills and learn the proper techniques.
