Has it really been 50 years since Neil Armstrong took those first steps on the moon and spoke the words that will be forever etched in our memory -  "One small step for man, one giant leap for mankind."  Join us to celebrate this historic feat and learn more about the space program today.  According to NASA, the moon is going “Co-Ed” in 2024!  Who will be the first woman to walk on the moon? Astronaut, Sunita (Suni) Williams, is currently one of 12 female astronauts on that short list of candidates!   Suni has spent a total of 322 days in space on two missions; she ranks second on the all-time U.S. endurance list for females. With 50 hours and 40 minutes, she is second on the list of total cumulative spacewalk time by a female astronaut. Suni will be in conversation with her Annapolis classmate & friend, local Sonoman, Bill Angeloni. Bill also studied Aerospace Engineering at Annapolis, and received his private pilot’s license with the intention of pursuing a career as an astronaut. Mis-diagnosed with a heart condition, he refocused his efforts as a serial entrepreneur, and remains involved with aviation and aerospace.
