Please join us for a workshop bringing together Grossmont Adult
Education and CUYAMACA COLLEGE faculty to share insights, explore
best practices, and address complex issues. Become part of a community
of practitioners that will tackle questions such as: * How do we
define student success? * How do we organize our work to give
students the best possible chance of reaching their goals across
educational opportunities? * What does it look like to transition to
accelerated pedagogy? * What does it look like for our students to be
"ready" for transition to new challenges, college, and career? The
workshop will be facilitated by members of CUYAMACA COLLEGE's English,
ESL, and Math faculty who were recently honored at the California
Acceleration Project’s 3rd Annual Acceleration Across California
Conference in Sacramento February 21-23 for their work in
transforming remediation. CUYAMACA COLLEGE received the GOLDEN STATE
HONEY BADGER AWARD, one of the most aptly named awards out there.
Please join us for what promises to be an exciting workshop leading to
exciting action steps and results.
A working lunch will be served at 1 pm. (Please let us know about any
dietary restrictions.)
