Register to submit a VIDEO AUDITION FOR PYT'S PRODUCTION OF "ALICE IN
WONDERLAND JR.". VIDEOS ARE DUE TO auditions@pytnet.org by 12pm on
April 27. All who audition will be cast provided they are willing to
accept any role and do not have excessive conflicts (more than 6
dates). NOTE: PYT offers video auditions as an option for anyone who
is unavailable to attend audition weekend in person. However, our
casting team vastly prefers seeing actors audition in person to best
understand their talents and assign an ideal role. Registration
includes the participation fee and general costume expense (except for
shoes, basic stage makeup and undergarments such as leotards, tights,
undershirts, and bike shorts). Families must commit to a minimum of 25
hours of production support. Training will be provided. Auditions are
open to actors age 5-15. Actors must be 8 years old by May 5 to
participate in the main cast. Ages 5-7 may join our Young Performers
Ensemble without an audition. Callbacks will be scheduled 6-9pm on
April 28 and 29. They will be held weekday evenings (primarily
Mon-Wed) 6-8:30pm & Saturdays 10am-1pm thru July 9. Over July 14-19,
rehearsals will be held every weekday evening 6-9pm and Saturday the
19th 10am-1pm. Actors will only be called as needed, generally 2-4
times per week. Technical rehearsals are July 20-23 from 4-10pm at the
Mountain View Center for the Performing Arts. No absences are allowed
for tech rehearsals or performances. Performances Dates & Times:
Thurs, July 24 @ 6:30 PM Fri, July 25 @ 6:30 PM Sat, July 26 @ 1 PM &
6:30 PM Sun, July 27 @ 11 AM & 3 PM We expect to have two full casts
for this production that will each perform 3 times.
