James L. Knight Professor of Journalism at Berkeley Journalism and
co-founder of the UC Berkeley Center for the Science of Psychedelics.
He is the author of nine books, including The Omnivore’s Dilemma: A
Natural History of Four Meals, The Botany of Desire: A Plant’s-Eye
View of the World, and his latest, This is Your Mind on Plants.
Mina Kim hosts KQED’s Forum, a live daily talk show on issues that
matter to California and the nation, to create an informed, healthier
and stronger community.
