Trauma Awareness and Resilience Workshop, August 2019

AVP California’s Special WORKSHOPS COMMITTEE AUTHORIZED THE DEVELOPMENT OF A TRAUMA AWARENESS AND RESILIENCY MANUAL IN DECEMBER OF 2017. AVP California Steering Committee is now ready to offer the TRAUMA AWARENESS AND RESILIENCE WORKSHOP.AVP California intends that the Trauma Awareness and Resilience Workshops are offered as special advanced or level 2 workshops for facilitators. These workshops will help facilitators to examine, and perhaps transform, their own relationship with trauma and will give them additional tools to support their AVP facilitation skills. If you would like to take this AVP Workshop, please sign up here or contact the registrar below.  * This training is from 5 to 9 pm on Friday, 9 am to 9 pm on Saturday, and 9 am to 4 pm on Sunday. You must attend the entire workshop to receive a certificate of completion. * We are asking that you donate what you can afford between $50 and $150. No one will be denied for lack of funds. * This workshop is for AVP facilitators, with priority to those who have not taken this workshop. * Registration will open to facilitators who have already participated in a trauma workshop on May 1st. * Some home-stays are available on a first come, first serve basis, and there are many motels in the area. * Simple meals and snacks provided.
