Join us for the 2nd Annual CSUSB Run Like A Mother 5K Run/Walk!CSUSB
ETA SIGMA GAMMA NATIONAL HEALTH EDUCATION HONORARY SOCIETY AND
STUDENTS IN HEALTH SCIENCE 404: Women’s Health are hosting the
Second ANNUAL CSUSB RUN LIKE A MOTHER 5K, which will be held in
loving memory of Jordyn Rivera, beloved President of Eta Sigma Gamma,
star student in the Department of Health Science, and dear friend.
This 5K benefits Time for Change Foundation
[http://www.timeforchangefoundation.org/] and Soul Food for Your Baby
[http://www.soulfood4yourbaby.org/], local community organizations
dedicated to providing programs and services to assist women and
children. Last year, nearly 200 attendees came together to support
the work of Time for Change Foundation and Soul Food for Your Baby.
Take action! Run or walk in honor of these two amazing organizations.
Help make this year's Run Like A Mother 5K as successful as last

TICKETS ARE $10 FOR THE FIRST 100 PARTICIPANTS.
COMPLIMENTARY PARKING IS AVAILABLE IN PARKING LOT D, PROCEED DIRECTLY
TO THE LOT.
CHECK-IN BEGINS AT 7AM AND THE RACE WILL BEGIN PROMPTLY AT 8AM.
FREE T-SHIRTS WILL BE PROVIDED AT CHECK-IN WHILE SUPPLIES LAST, BE
SURE TO CHECK-IN EARLY.

During the 5K CSUSB Title IX will be collecting new stuffed animals
for children affected by domestic violence.

How long is 5 kilometers? 5 kilometers is 3.1 miles.

Is this event timed? This event is not officially timed.

Do I have to be a runner to participate? Absolutely not, we welcome
any and all participants.

If I walk, how long will it take? At a typical walking pace, it can
take 45 minutes to 60 minutes to complete the 5K. At a slower pace,
it might take closer to 90 minutes.

Are strollers allowed? Yes, strollers are encouraged and this is a
family friendly event.
