Foreign Films! - Monthly Edition

Add some culture to your geek with some FOREIGN FILM AND FOOD!**Because this event is size-limited, and usually has a waitlist, there is a no-show policy. Please, ensure your RSVP is up to date, and if you have to cancel, please be sure to identify that via Meetup. If you simply don't show up, you will be disinvited for future FFN, at least until you show up to other ALN events regularly.** So here's how this works: The area or movie for each month are usually identified at the prior monthly meetup. At the end of watching one film, we start the discussion. We generally select a country or area, or people will suggest specific films, and I research to see if it's a film I can get my hands on. The film is announced on the forum or updated in the title the week before the event happens. Those who have RSVP'd get an email several days before confirming event details such as address, etc. These have become foodie events as well, with a themed potluck - food and drink. In the past we've had champagne and foie gras for French, sushi and sake for Japanese, etc. Feel free to post what you're bringing on the forum. Let me know if there are any allergies or considerations at least two days before. Social and dinner starts at 5:30pm; movie starts around 6:30pm.
