Scholarship AUDITION: April 8, 2017 / 12:00 – 1:30 p.m. Scholarship Video Due: April 8, 2017 (send to info@malashockdance.org)  Adult SUMMER INTENSIVE 2017 July 17-29, 2017 M-F 9:00 a.m. -5:00 p.m Culminating Performance July 29, 2017    About   The MALASHOCK DANCE SUMMER INTENSIVE IS A TWO-week workshop designed to equip advanced level DANCERS WITH TOOLS TO PROPEL THEIR CAREER AS A PROFESSIONAL DANCER. The MALASHOCK DANCE SUMMER INTENSIVE SERVES AS AN AUDITION FOR THE MALASHOCK DANCE COMPANY. This affords Artistic Director, John MALASHOCK THE OPPORTUNITY TO WORK WITH PROSPECTIVE COMPANY MEMBERS IN CLASS, rehearsal and performance. Ages 17 & up.     Receive daily technique training with John MALASHOCK AND KHAMLA SOMPHANH.   Learn existing MALASHOCK DANCE REPERTORY WITH LARA SEGURA.   Participate in contact improv and partnering workshops with Eric Geiger and Michael Mizerany.   Perform in new works by John Malashock and Sadie Weinberg.   Registration Requirements Students are hand-selected by MALASHOCK DANCE. Please send a video link no longer than four minutes to Info@MalashockDance.org to be considered. Video should showcase modern dance technique in a performance or class phrase. Deadline: July 1, 2017
