Rotalympics 2019

Come and get sporty with us during the 2019 Rotalympics competition! This competition is the first of its kind, and we look forward to having you help us make this an exciting day of team-building and fun.

 Who: Your hosts will be San Diego and Pacific Beach Rotaract. We are young professionals in San Diego ages 22-30 who work to make a difference in our community and abroad following the Rotary motto “Service above Self”. What: Exciting events to challenge you and your team to go for the gold! We will be having 5 exciting sports events, to include Dizzy Bat, Egg Spoon Race Challenge, 3 Legged Race, Hula Hoop Challenge, and Tug-Of-War.

Your team will consist of 4-6 people. Every event requires 4 people, so any more than 4 allows for substitutions. If you have a specific team you’d like to be on, list the full team on the spreadsheet located here:

If you’re looking to socialize with new people, please write you name in the “free agents” column and we’ll assign you to an awesome team!

If you’re a hungry competitor or more of just a spectator, we’ll also be having food and drinks. Wine and beer will be available to anyone over 21. The price to enter as a competitor includes food and drinks. 

Prices are as follows:

Members of College-based Rotaract clubs: $20

All others: $30

Tickets will be availble until March 28th or until we sell out- buy now to secure your spot! They can be purchased on Eventbrite or by sending money via the Venmo App to @PBRotaract. If sent via Venmo, please include in the memo "Rotalympics", along with your name and anyone else you are purchasing tickets for.

Additionally, we’ll have some side fun going on, such as corn hole, footballs, soccer balls, and spike ball- it'll be a great event to bring the whole family!

Why: As service organizations, both San Diego and Pacific Beach Rotaract have events we’re trying to fundraise for later in the year, and this was the most fun way we could think of! San Diego Rotaract has a house build in Mexico that they completely fund and Pacific Beach Rotaract is planning a service trip to Mexico, both in Summer 2019. We appreciate your support by participating in this event!
