This program is an intense and thorough education for those who are new to the finance subject, as well as a refresher for those looking to brush up on their knowledge. This certification answers many questions about the financial service section, including: Who is involved in the business and what do they do; What companies provides and what users of FINANCIAL SERVICES WANT; Why products and services exist, and how they are regulated; When products and services are used and how they solve problems; and, Where the industry is going. Explain the role and impact of monetary and fiscal policy on MONEY FLOWS AND COSTS. Describe how needs of personal, corporate and INSTITUTIONAL CLIENTS ARE IDENTIFIED AND MET. Discuss specific regulatory bodies and key compliance priorities impacting INSTITUTIONS TODAY. Clarify best practices for anti-MONEY LAUNDERING AND ‘Know Your Customer’ compliance. Illustrate the importance of ethical standards and behaviours in the business. Specify key retail consumer and wealth management products and services. Demonstrate how FINANCIAL MATH IS USED PRICING MARKETS PRODUCTS. Detail business, commercial, corporate and investment banking products and service. Outline the roles and relationships of shared services, operations, technology and front office teams. Put in plain words the multiple operations, credit, market and other risks faced by FINANCIAL INSTITUTIONS. Prerequisites A basic understanding of business. Who Should Attend Any professional or advanced student working in the technology field in financial services and/or working in the middle, back office, shared services and support areas of financial services firms. This includes from new hires / graduates / freshers to middle level managers. No prior in-depth knowledge of accounting, economics, or finance is necessary.
