CONTEMPLATIVE DRAWING (ONLINE)
Sarah Ammons
8 Sessions>> Tuesdays, June 30- August 11
6:00-9:00pm, ONLINE + Studio 13, $385Contemplative Drawing is a
meditative practice of syncing the eye with the hand. Through a series
of exercises we explore and find new ways of seeing and representing
the world around us. In this practice we will enhance our perceptual
skills, expand our concepts of reality and how we understand it
through the language of line-work. Each class will consist of a
series of exercises that are designed to activate and develop the
creative “Right Brain” and free ourselves from the sometimes
hypercritical “Left Brain” ultimately strengthening our
observational drawing abilities. We will be working from the world
around us at home, still life and photo. This class is great for
beginners as well as experienced artists.
