Chinese traditional calligraphic BRUSH PAINTING HAS DEVELOPED
CONTINUOUSLY OVER A PERIOD OF MORE THAN 5000 YEARS. It is one of the
simplest and most expressive of visual art forms. Technique,
composition and empty space are its key elements. The essential tools
are BRUSH, ink and rice paper. The art form helps you to develop
patience and receptivity.
CALLIGRAPHY IS THE ANTITHESIS OF ELECTRONIC MEDIA AND PRACTICING IT
OPENS THE MIND AND PUTS YOU IN CLOSER TOUCH WITH YOUR HEART AND YOUR
OWN INNER VOICE. Using traditional iconic figures from classical
Chinese culture, such as the bamboo tree, the wild orchid flower and
panda bears, you will learn the basic techniques that can help you to
touch and express your own vision of the timeless moment.
