They share love of bands from the 60's, 70's and 90's (while mostly bypassing the 80's). They met up in the California East Bay after answering a musicians wanted ad. The band emerged in Los Angles mid 2016 after having started their careers in honky tonks (the podunk poets) and on the dance floor (mot&krid). Both had actually met several years before when Kidd had begged Gallmeier to drum in a new project.
