ZEEMUFFIN, born Zainab Hasnain, is a Pakistani-born, New York-raised DJ and producer. Her foundation in music started as a classically trained violist and dancer. ZEEMUFFIN's approach to DJing has been heavily influenced by her Pakistani heritage and the multicultural makeup of New York City, making her a musically diverse crowd favorite DJ. Her sets often seamlessly blend global sounds and genres from her New York Hip-hop roots to Afrobeats, Baile-funk to Bhangra, and through House and Dance music from around the world. Known for her infectious stage presence and ability to connect with any crowd, her talents have taken her around the world to perform alongside renowned artists like Kaytranada, Duckwrth, Ali Sethi, and Raf Saperra. She has also graced festival stages for Governors Ball and Afro Punk to name a few.
