Design Lecture: Dean Broadley

Join us for a design mixer and talk with Dean Broadley, former executive design director at Barclays. 'Not Black enough to be White' – Dean will share his story of being a beige Designer in South Africa. 

Dean Broadley is an Experience Design Director from Cape Town, South Africa. He has worked lead teams in startups, communications as well as large financial institutions such as Barclays Africa. From designing characters for comics to mentoring startups in Techstars Accelerators, Dean has always had a keen interest in making products and organisations more human.
Most recently Dean founded The School of Do™ and Broadley Speaking™ which primarily aim at maturing and professionalising the design industry of Africa through making organizations more human, coaching and building the next wave of product & service design skills.
