Aakash will teach the Scrum Alliance Certified ScrumMaster® course using highly-interactive exercises that will give you the skills needed to work with Scrum teams in complex enterprise environments. This course is suited for all levels of Scrum experience. A Certified ScrumMaster® helps project teams use Scrum effectively and perform at the highest level. CSMs understand Scrum values, practices, and applications and provide a level of knowledge and expertise above and beyond that of typical project managers. CSMs help the rest of the Scrum team work together and learn the Scrum framework, while protecting the team from both internal and external distractions.
Course Overview
This course will feature case studies, games and interactive exercises that will teach you how to accelerate your Scrum practice. Upon successful completion of this course, you will:
Be prepared to pass the Certified ScrumMaster test (new and revised for 2019)
Be qualified to lead teams in any environment or industry as a Scrum Master

PDU and SEU Credits: This course provides 16 SEUs of the 70 needed for the Certified Scrum Professional (CSP) certification. This course also earns 16 PMI PDUs and 16 needed for the PMI-Agile Certified Practitioner (PMI-ACP) certification and PMP certification.
CSM Certification
After successful completion of the 2-day Certified ScrumMaster course, students are eligible to take the CSM Assessment Exam online through the Scrum Alliance. The course fee includes the cost of the exam (the link will be emailed to you shortly upon successful completion of class) and a two-year membership to the Scrum Alliance.

Aakash Srinivasan (CST, CSP, CSD, CSPO, CSM)
Aakash is a seasoned corporate trainer and organization design coach. With an academic background in hardware engineering, professional experience in various aspects of technology development (solutioning, management consulting, coaching and training) and a passion for problem domain analysis, Aakash spends his time between training organizations on all things agile and coaching executive and senior leaders around the globe on business efficiency, strategic process improvements and organizational structure changes needed to support large scale agile transformations.
Aakash is an avid contributor to the international agile community and often speaks and volunteers at various global Scrum and agile conferences. As a Scrum Alliance Certified Scrum Trainer (CST) and a Training from the Back of the Room Certified Trainer (TBR-CT), Aakash regularly conducts a variety of Scrum, Kanban, Training from the Back of the Room and agile certification workshops around the world.
Class Information
Length: 2-days, with a break for lunch. Light breakfast and morning/afternoon snacks are provided.
Attendance: Instructors expect attendees to participate for the full two days of class and are unable to certify students who miss more than one hour of class. If you anticipate that you may miss more than one hour, please contact your instructor in advance to discuss your situation and determine if rescheduling the class is the best option.

What should I bring to the event?
Everything you will need for class will be provided, so just bring yourself!
Please note: Use of phones and laptops may be used during breaks, but we kindly ask that you refrain from using them while class is in session.

Is my registration/ticket transferrable?
Yes! You are allowed one transfer, but it must be to the same class type and can only be transferred for the next upcoming class.
What is the cancellation policy?
A 90% refund will be issued for cancellations made in 14 days or more from the start date of the course. For cancellations made in less than 14 days, we will allow a one-time transfer into the next available course. All cancellation requests must be emailed to
