On Halloween afternoon, thousands of people will begin arriving at bars across San Francisco in costumes ranging from classic monsters to large group themes. They will be gathering for Crawloween, the massive San Francisco Halloween Pub Crawl returning on Saturday, October 31, 2026.
The event offers a different way to spend Halloween. Instead of buying admission to a single party and remaining at one venue all day, Crawloween lets participants move between more than 50 bars. The route reaches the Marina, Russian Hill, Polk Gulch, Union Square and other neighborhoods, giving guests access to a wide range of bars and nightlife settings. It is the best way to celebrate
Some participants may want an afternoon of casual drinks and food with friends. Others may be looking for DJs, dancing and crowded Halloween parties. Because there are so many locations, both groups can find stops that match the kind of day they want. Guests control their own schedules and can visit as few or as many bars as they choose.
Crawloween: San Francisco Halloween Pub Crawl
Date: Saturday, October 31, 2026
Times: 2PM to 10PM
Neighborhoods: Marina, Russian Hill, Polk Gulch, Union Square and more
Three check-in locations have already been announced. Participants can begin at Mayes Oyster House at 1233 Polk Street, Rick & Roxy’s at 2131 Lombard Street or Union Street Ale House at 1980 Union Street. More options may be added before the event.
The free Pub Crawl Party Bus is one of the most useful features of the Saturday crawl. It will help connect key areas, making it possible to experience more of the route without walking between distant neighborhoods. Guests should use public transportation or a rideshare service to reach the event and should never drink and drive.
