INTRODUCTION TO LASER CUTTING AND ETCHING

The LASER CUTTERS ARE EXTREMELY POWERFUL AND VERSATILE MACHINES THAT CAN BE USED TO CUT AND ENGRAVE COMPLEX SHAPES AND PATTERNS INTO A LARGE VARIETY OF MATERIALS UP TO 1/4” thick. Wood, many plastics, and some foams and composites may all be used with the LASER CUTTERS. This class covers safe use of the Universal and Green laser cutters in San Jose. Using a design we have prepared, we will teach you how to cut, engrave, and etch using the laser cutter, as well as how to prepare a file on the various softwares that work with the laser cutters. Course length is 1.5 hours.
