DANCING WITH GHOSTS February 19, 2019  7:30pm, Arts 111_Dancing With Ghosts _is a shared evening of contemporary dance works by queer POC choreographers Kristianne Salcines and Randy Reyes. These fierce artists share their embodied research through practices of questioning and responsiveness. They perform survival, identity, intersectionality, presence, absence, democracy, community, process, performativity, and more. There will glorious be dancing. There will be a mess. There will be discovery. These are urgent dance works of our time. Come and celebrate the radically transformative power of dance! _Kristianne__ Salcines is a queer Filipina born and raised in the Philippines currently based in LA and Berlin. They explore their cultural heritage and gender representation in their choreographic work._ _Randy Reyes Randy Reyes is a queer-Latinx-brujx originally from NJ y Guatemala currently oscillating between the Bay Area, LA, and NYC. They explore Chinese Energetics, the presence of absence, collaborating with grief, joy, and the unseen._ Co-Sponsors: CSUSM Dance Studies, IRA, Experimental Dance Project Grant ********************************************************** FAQS  ARE THERE ID REQUIREMENTS TO ENTER THE EVENT? * If you are reserving a CSUSM Student Ticket, or purchasing a Faculty/Staff ticket you MUST BRING YOUR TICKET AND CSUSM ID to be admitted to this event.  * Only 1 Free ticket per student per event * NOTE: If ticketholders are not seated five minutes prior to the beginning of the performance, Arts & Lectures reserves the right to offer that seat to another guest.   WHAT ARE MY PARKING OPTIONS? * Interactive Map of Campus [http://www.csusm.edu/guide/maps.html] * The Yellow and Blue Pay stations accept 1's, 5's, and quarters. Pay Stations are located in parking lots B, C, F, K, N, X, and the Parking Structure 1. IS MY REGISTRATION/TICKET TRANSFERRABLE? * Yes, but only within the same ticket type. For example, a student can tranfer their ticket to another CSUSM student with valid CSUSM ID. CSUSM Faculty/Staff can transfer their ticket to another CSUSM Faculty/Staff with valid CSUSM ID.  General Public can transfer their ticket to anyone.   DO I HAVE TO BRING MY PRINTED TICKET TO THE EVENT? * Yes, or bring your smart phone with the Eventbrite app/barcode ready to scan at the door.   DISABILITY ACCESS: * Individuals with disabilities, who would like to attend this event, please contact the Arts & Lectures Coordinator at 760-750-8272 regarding any special accommodation needs.
