American Mah Jongg is an exciting game with Chinese origins that uses
tiles with symbols, numbers and pictures. Instructor Carol Neel will
teach basic fundamental components over the course of four weeks; such
as identification and distribution, how to interpret the National Mah
Jongg League (NMJL) card, etiquette rules and strategy. She provides
the information in a supportive, learning environment. Each class is
taught in a specific sequence so it is crucial not to miss any
classes. This course is ideal for beginners or “rusty” players.
This is a great game to learn with friends and family. It is typically
played with four people. The required $15 National Mah Jongg Players
Card is included in the class fee.
Cancellation policy: Cancellation fee: $10.00. All cancellations must
be provided in writing and emailed to csd@marinwood.org. We will not
process refunds over the phone. Cancellation requests must be
submitted before the session/program begins.
