[https://traumapart1and2.eventbrite.com]. This two-day training
supports you to gain a greater proficiency with this vast subject of
trauma via a primary focus on live demonstrations by Christine
Donohue, MFT, SEP and your subsequent experiential work within dyads
and triads. After an initial overview of fundamental concepts and the
discussion of at least ten interventions which support greater
coherency and flexibility in the autonomic nervous system, Christine
will demonstrate how she weaves these interventions within a
relational, attachment-based dialogue ~ exploration ~ co-creation.
Christine will debrief each demonstration by applying information
taught during Part 1 to the details of each mini-session. In between
each demonstration, you will have ample time and opportunity to
explore these interventions within a small group. Throughout the two
days, you will participate in at least five 75-minute practice
sessions followed by a Q&A and group discussion. The last 1.5-hour
segment of the second day will be an opportunity for you to drop
deeply into a cellular embodiment and into the unknown within you. You
will be held within a safe container to facilitate your unique
spontaneous gestures of expression to unfurl. Christine, a previous
Creative Arts Director at the Barbara Brennan School of Healing, will
guide you into an internal healing dive within your own body and being
that offers an opportunity and catalyst for creative
self-expression. The training structure weaves lecture,
experiential, questions and discusssion.WHEN: Saturday-Sunday, June

presented a full day of complex material in a passionate voice with
humor and animation and wisdom. This was the best training I’ve
experience in working with trauma.” Zoe Becker, LMFT
(psychotherapist for over 30 years) “Clear, concise, presentation
and helpful material that is immediately applicable to my practice.”
Dr. Namita Caen “Really helpful class for anyone who works in a
healing capacity – or anyone at all who wants to better
understand, know, and help themselves and to live as fully, healthily,
and happily as possible. Christine is a wealth of information,
knowledge, and resources and her passion for healing and educating is
very apparent. Thank you, Christine, for your wisdom, compassion,
generosity, articulate teaching, and dedication to health and
wellness!” S. Snider “Christine created a
very welcoming, entertaining environment for learning extremely
useful, conceptual, and experiential knowledge about somatic healing
for trauma. It was a full day very well spent. Thank you!” Heather
Hawkins, PhD “Christine is a marvelous educator. Her knowledge,
energy, and clarity made this workshop a valuable experience and I
look forward to practicing the tools I’ve learned in order to
support healing for the people around me, both personally and
professionally.” “Trauma: Key Fundamentals and Essential Steps”
training was so helpful and made me understand more of the cause, the
theory from where anxiety and depression comes from, how trauma
impacts our daily lives, and helped me to learn powerful tools to deal
with this in a helpful way as well as ways to help others.”
M. Ruiz
“The way slides were
categorized and bulleted helped me map experiences. Your voice, tone,
volume, and cadence kept me engaged the WHOLE time.” “This
course was wonderful, thought provoking, and brought insightful
clarity. Thank you so much for your time.” “Understanding the
value in resourcing regulation as a ‘binder’ from trauma to
equilibrium. Taking ‘baby steps’ rather than simply forging
ahead.”
