In its 51st year the SANTA BARBARA SUMMER SOLSTICE CELEBRATION REMAINS
THE LARGEST ARTS EVENT IN SANTA BARBARA COUNTY DRAWING CROWDS OF
100,000 parade spectators from around the world with 50,000 attendees
to the 3-day free arts and music FESTIVAL. More than 2,000 volunteers
transform downtown SANTA BARBARA INTO A VIBRANT SPLASH OF COLOR MUSIC
AND DANCE. The Parade begins at noon Saturday 21 2025 at SANTA BARBARA
AND ORTEGA STREET. The Parade arrives at Alameda Park where the floats
are on display until they are pushed back to the Workshop later in the
day.The 3-day free Festival in the Park opens Friday 4-9 pm June 20,
closes Sunday 6 PM. Participants and spectators alike can enjoy a
wonderful eclectic collection of live music showcasing local and
regional talent on the main stage. Food booths provide a wide variety
of food and beverages. There are arts and crafts from local artisans
and crafts from around the world. The new Funtopia Zone features
interactive activities for families and children of all ages. The Main
Stage on Saturday is a showcase gig for up and coming bands and local
favorites. The CommUnity Bowl Stage features young performers, family
entertainment, ethnic music and dance. Sunday will be Reggae Sunday
sponsored by One Plant. .
