Description Get ready for Spring Softball 2026 with Santa Monica
Softball Academy! Players will have an official league mock tryout to
prepare for league player evaluations for 2026! We will work with
players on fielding techniques, hitting techniques, pitching and
catching to prepare for the upcoming season! Santa Monica Softball
Academy’s goal is for all players to have a fun and safe experience
while focusing on team play and individual skill development. Our camp
will concentrate on throwing & catching drills and techniques,
specialty position practice (pitching, catching, infield, and
outfield), base-running with live hitting. Our goal for young players
is to inspire confidence, while having fun in a positive environment
while also learning to play the game from professional coaches.
Attitude, effort, teamwork, leadership, and sportsmanship will be
stressed throughout the week, while players learn correct softball &
baseball fundamentals. Our goal is for all participants to leave camp
with a high level of understanding of proper technique in all areas of
the game. By incorporating drills and competitions developed over a
lifetime of playing and teaching the game, players will gain a firm
foundation in the fundamentals that will give them the confidence to
compete and feel good doing it! Players are typically grouped based on
age and ability.
