Spanish Adventure Immersion. Spring Session 2. Wednesday - Santa Monica, CA 2025

Description This class is designed for kids who are just starting to learn SPANISH, as well as for the advanced SPANISH SPEAKERS. Children will explore the language through games, songs, dancing, reading, painting, and more! Children who are new to the SPANISH LANGUAGE WILL BE SUPPORTED BY FELLOW STUDENTS WHO HAVE ALREADY ACQUIRED CERTAIN KNOWLEDGE. Plus, they will learn to gain confidence while being in a new environment, thus learning new language skills such as word structure, vocabulary, and pronunciation. Children who have basic knowledge of the SPANISH LANGUAGE WILL MAKE PROGRESS WITH FLUENCY, reading. Please bring a snack. Children are supported by a Google classroom where they have access to videos, songs, games, and virtual activities. They can also follow Rosita, the classroom puppet pet, allowing them to connect vocabulary to daily routines. Children must be ready to attend class on their own and be potty trained. Please bring a healthy snack and lunch, and water. $30 cash material fee is due to the instructor on the first day of class. Online registration is required. Walk-in registration is not available. REFUNDS/TRANSFERS - A $15.00 processing fee applies for each activity SESSION REFUNDED. Refunds will be prorated. Refund/transfer requests must be emailed to the Community Classes & Camps office at community.classes@santamonica.gov. Refunds will be issued only if requested within one day after the first class meeting. Material fees are not discountable and are nonrefundable. REFUNDS FOR DUPLICATE/MULTIPLE ENROLLMENTS resulting from multiple registration submissions (at one or more offices or via online registration) will be subject to a $15.00 processing fee for each activity session refunded. CANCELLED CLASSES: Makeups will not be offered for classes missed by the student. Programs are subject to cancellation if minimum enrollment is not met.
