Description Our Flexible SPANISH IMMERSION PRESCHOOL ORIENTATION SINGLE DAYS PROGRAM OFFERS PARENTS THE FLEXIBILITY TO ENROLL THEIR CHILD IN ONE, two, or three days per week, with children registering every 8 classes. This option is perfect for families whose children are already attending another PRESCHOOL AND SEE OUR PROGRAM AS A VALUABLE ENRICHMENT CLASS THAT COMPLIMENTS THEIR EXISTING ROUTINE. It's also great for parents who want to gradually introduce their children to the SPANISH LANGUAGE AND CULTURE. Children in our PROGRAM ARE ACTIVELY ENGAGED IN ENERGETIC CLASSES, where they participate in hands on experiences such as playing, moving, singing, playing games, using puppets, gardening, cooking, and more. They gradually become familiar with our routines, understanding that attending our PRESCHOOL ORIENTATION SINGLE DAYS PROGRAM IS PART OF THEIR WEEKLY SCHEDULE. Our PROGRAM IS DROP-off, and children are expected to be potty trained. Children are supported by a Google classroom where they have access to videos, songs, games, and virtual activities. They can also follow Rosita, the classroom puppet pet, allowing them to connect vocabulary to daily routines. Children must be ready to attend class on their own and be potty trained. Please bring a healthy snack and lunch, and water. $30 cash material fee is due to the instructor on the first day of class. The City of SANTA MONICA CONTINUES TO PLACE THE HIGHEST VALUE ON THE HEALTH AND SAFETY OF OUR COMMUNITY. Additional safety protocols and procedures such as social distancing and face masks may be implemented as directed by current LA County Department of Public Health Guidelines. Online registration is required. Walk-in registration is not available. REFUNDS/TRANSFERS - A $15.00 processing fee applies for each activity session refunded. Refunds will be prorated. Refund/transfer requests must be emailed to the Community Classes & Camps office at community.classes@santamonica.gov. Refunds will be issued only if requested within one day after the first class meeting. Material fees are not discountable and are nonrefundable. REFUNDS FOR DUPLICATE/MULTIPLE ENROLLMENTS resulting from multiple registration submissions (at one or more offices or via online registration) will be subject to a $15.00 processing fee for each activity session refunded. CANCELLED CLASSES: Makeups will not be offered for classes missed by the student. Programs are subject to cancellation if minimum enrollment is not met.
