Conference topics and materials will help attendees assess and stabilize the High-Risk OB and NEONATAL PATIENTS AS WELL AS PEDIATRIC TRAUMA PATIENTS IN BOTH PREHOSPITAL AND HOSPITAL SETTINGS. INSTRUCTORS  Yvette Gonzalez, MS, RN, C-EFM, C-NPT - REACH Air Medical Services  Cindy Scruggs, RN, CFRN, FN - REACH Air Medical Services OBJECTIVES > Review normal physiologic changes and assessment of obstetric patients > Review high-risk obstetric clinical presentations, pre-transport and transport clinical considerations > Review obstetric hemorrhage and clinical priorities in the peri-transport setting > Review high-risk obstetric peri-transport stabilization priorities > Review in-utero resuscitation measures for pre-transport and transport clinical application > Review clinical priorities for preeclampsia, HELLP syndrome and eclampsia > Describe the anatomical differences between children and adults > Describe common injury patterns in children > Discuss the emergency medical treatment of various traumatic injuries in the pediatric population   CONTINUING EDUCATION REACH is an approved provider by the California Board of Registered Nursing, Provider Number CEP #9697 for 4 contact hours. This course has been approved for 4 hours of continuing education by an approved California EMS CE Provider, #49-0008. REFUND POLICY Refunds (less a $20 administration fee) will be provided if the refund request is received in writing 72 hours (3 days) prior to the event. The refund will be processed within 30 days of the timely refund request. CANCELLATION NOTIFICATION If the event is cancelled for any reason, refunds will be provided in full within 30 days of the cancellation notification.
