Experts used to think that genes determine your health. But current
research shows that your state of mind effects physiological processes
that turn on and off the genes which degrade or repair your body. It
turns out that your state of mind is the epicenter of your wellbeing
and is the most important factor in health and resiliency. You already
have within you all that you need for wellbeing. The problem most
people face is a widespread misunderstanding about how the mind works
and where our wellbeing comes from. Most people attribute their
dissatisfaction to outside circumstances and spend a lot of effort
trying to change those circumstances so they can feel better. This
leads to a great deal of unnecessary stress and personal struggle in
work, relationships, health, and life. In this uplifting workshop,
I’ll share with you a simple understanding about how thinking,
moods, and behavior work. This insight, as experienced, discovered,
and taught by the late Sydney Banks, explains the wisdom and logic
built in to the way the human mind and resiliency work. Once you
understand how the human operating system works, it’s easier to live
in harmony with it and effortlessly thrive in work, relationships,
health, and life, regardless of your circumstances. In fact the more
you live in alignment with your true nature, the more you will
experience synchronicity, intuition, and a sense of connection to the
miraculous. “As soon as you find out how the mind works, that’s
the first major step toward happiness.” --Sydney Banks, Mind and
Insecurity
