Ocean Day 2020- Sunset Sail on the San Francisco Bay

Join the crew of the Schooner Freda B for a SUNSET SAIL TO CELEBRATE WORLD OCEAN DAY!See the Bay's iconic sights from the deck of an elegant, traditionally-rigged sailboat. Landmarks we'll often see include the Golden Gate Bridge, Alcatraz, Marin Headlands, Angel Island, Palace of Fine Arts, Fort Mason, Fisherman's Wharf, Coit Tower, and the Bay Bridge, all from the special vantage of the water. SCHEDULE Boarding: 7:15pm Departure: 7:30pm Return: 9:30pm ON-DECK CASH BAR Premium Sodas: $4 French Press Coffee, Hot Chocolate, Hot Apple Cider and Tea: $5 California Craft Beer (by the bottle): $6 European/Napa/Sonoma Valley Wine (by the glass): $10-$14 Bailey's or Brandy & Coffee, Peppermint Schnapps & Hot Cocoa: $12 PLEASE NOTE: NO OUTSIDE BEVERAGES, INTOXICATED GUESTS, LARGE BAGS OR CREDIT CARDS ARE ACCEPTED. WHAT TO WEAR Dress in layers, as sailing on the San FRANCISCO BAY OFFERS EVER-changing views and exciting microclimates. Weather can change in a minute. WINDBREAKER, warm base layer, gloves, hat, scarf, SUNGLASSES, and comfortable shoes are encouraged. PLEASE, NO HIGH HEELS. PARKING Please plan on arriving a few minutes early to find parking and the boat. We recommend parking in one of the municipal lots surrounding Sausalito Yacht Harbor. Parking costs between $1 and $4 per hour, and Parking Lot #3 and Lot #4 will be the most convenient and affordable. Freda B sails on time and there are no refunds for guests who miss the boat! Walk to 100 Bay Street in Sausalito and then continue walking north towards The Spinnaker. You'll soon come across a boardwalk that will lead you to our dock (look for the two red masts). The Schooner Freda B is located at Sausalito Yacht Harbor, Slip 465, Sausalito, CA 94965 (searchable on Google Maps). WEATHER Sailing on the San Francisco Bay is weather dependent. We sail in most weather, including cold, wind, fog, and light showers. On occasion, we will need to reschedule a sail due to extreme wind or rain. If this is necessary, you will be notified within 24 hours of the scheduled sail. If we cancel due to weather, we will work with you to reschedule or refund your order. Our captains monitor the most sophisticated weather channels and make every effort to bring you information in the timeliest manner. We apologize in advance if the weather complicates any special occasion plans. TICKETS A ticket is required for all passengers, including babes in arms. Children 17 and under must be accompanied and supervised at all times by an adult. Large group? Schooner Freda B is available for private charters for up to 49 guests. If you need to cancel please do so at least 1 week in advance.
