your research with Grad Study Halls!
What: A conducive, quiet working space, with peers and coffee,
goal-setting and academic consulting (on-demand) to help you progress
on your research and achieve your goals. Peer Learning Consultants
will be on hand to address any questions you may have on time
management, managing research workload, making the best use of Excel,
or any other related questions you might have!
Sign up for one, many, or all, but space is limited so register early!
Who: Any and all grad students (regardless of degree or program)
interested in focused work pertaining to your research. Please avoid
grading, emails, social media, and the like during study halls.
When: Periodically during the quarter—check your inbox for updated
scheduling for a current list of study halls and availability.
Food and Beverage Availability at Grad Study Halls:
Please note that there will be BEVERAGES AND SNACKS BUT NO MEALS at
Grad Study Halls. Coffee (including decaf) and tea will be the only
provided refreshments. We encourage you to plan ahead of time and
bring your own snacks or a meal if you would like to supplement or
substitute these snacks.
Please note that all Study Halls will be in STLC 115.
