In our Acting and Improvisation-focused session of Theatre
FUNdamentals, aspiring actors will work with their teacher to continue
to develop their acting and improvisation skills while putting
together a showcase of short scenes and improv games. Throughout the
class, students will be challenged to communicate character, emotion,
and storytelling through scripted and improvised scenes. On the final
day of class, students will perform their scene showcase for family
and friends. Class is open to students in 3rd - 5th grade. Wednesdays
from 3:00 - 4:00 starting 3/26 through 5/28. There is no class on 4/9
**As consideration for participation in a class or activity offered by
Peninsula Youth Theatre (PYT) I hereby agree that I, my spouse,
children, assignees, heirs, distributes, guardians and legal
representatives will not make a claim against, sue or attach the
property of PYT, or any agent, employee, or member thereof, for injury
or damage to my child (or children or legal ward) or self, whether
resulting from the negligent acts, or howsoever otherwise caused, as a
result of our participation in said class or activity. I hereby
release PYT and its agents, employees, and members from all actions,
claims or demands that I, my spouse, children, assignees, heirs,
distributes, guardians and legal representatives now have or may
hereafter have for injury or damage resulting from my or my child’s
or legal ward’s participation in said class or activity. Participant
and his or her legal guardian consent to the use of his or her
likeness in photographs or video taken by PYT for advertising and
other promotional purposes without payment. ******REFUND POLICY: The
cancellation fee is $25 for any cancellations made at least a week
before the start of class. Cancellations requested less than a week
before the start of class but fewer than 48 hours after the first
class are subject to a $50 cancellation fee. No refunds are available
after that time.
