Time: Check-In starts at 10:30 AM, training will start promptly at 11:00AM and end at 1PM
Target Audience: Physicians, Physician's Assistant, Doctors of Osteopathic Medicine, Allergy and Immunology Specialists
2 CME Units are Offered
Learning Objectives for this training include:
1. Utilize the Expert Panel Report-3 Guidelines for the Diagnosis and Management of Asthma
2. Identify the six priority action steps to asthma management
3. Recognize cultural health disparities related to asthma in in Los Angeles County
4. Discuss use of Asthma Action Plans as a self-management tool
5. Demonstrate correct usage of Metered Dose Inhalers (MDI) and Dry Powdered Inhalers (DPI)
