‘Art on The Edge’ Art Opening & Reception (Crockett)

Submitted by the Event OrganizerEpperson GalleryArtist reception Saturday, May 3, 4-6pm, exhibition May 3 – June 1 Please join us to celebrate the works of local Bay Area artists Pat Moseuk, Jeffrey Tover and Victoria Bochat during the Opening of their exhibition titled “Art On The Edge” at the Epperson Gallery in Crockett, CA. Pat Moseuk is an East Bay based painter that studied at the California College of Arts and Crafts in Oakland and the Academy of Art University in San Francisco, receiving a BFA in Illustration with distinction. Working as a freelance designer and illustrator for several years, she always found herself gravitated towards abstract art. Pat is inspired by some of the greatest abstract artist such as: Richard Deibenkorn with his use of color and geometrical shapes, Robert Motherwell’s use of negative and positive space and Robert Rauschenberg’s collage and color. She currently teaches at her studio in Pleasant Hill, CA and her work is shown in several National and International exhibitions and is collected throughout the United States and Internationally. Jeffrey Tover is a renowned abstract artist from the San Francisco Bay Area. He lives and creates in the historic town of Benicia, near the busy city. Jeffrey is also a passionate photographer, capturing his travels to Europe, Asia, and Australia. These global experiences often inspire his vibrant, expressive paintings, which are influenced by renowned artists like Cy Twombly, Joan Mitchell, and Willem de Kooning. His work has gained the attention of international and commercial collectors, and has been exhibited in prestigious galleries across the country. He also teaches and mentors artists in his studio in Benicia and other locations in the Bay Area. Victoria Bochat is an Oakland-based artist who creates large expressive abstract paintings and 3-D assemblage pieces from found objects. She creates these whimsical works in her home studio and is currently exhibits her work at the Grand Gallery in Jack London Square in Oakland and the San Francisco Women Artists Gallery in San Francisco.
