Due to the restrictions and inspections required by the Covid virus,
we will be on indefinite hiatus. I want to make sure that once our
doors open again, there will no doubt about anyone coming in having a
safe environment.
I won’t open again just for the sake of opening and put anyone at
risk.
I want to make sure everyone is safe and there are no two sides
arguing about wearing a mask.
At this time I do not know when, only that I will open again.
And when it happens there will be BIG announcements. So stay tuned!
I hope you can understand and I thank you for your patience.
I look forward to seeing you all in the hopefully near future.
Stay tuned for announcements and thanks again.
Chris BerubeA weekly workout for actors to make sure they are ready
when the opportunity arrives and the cameras turn on. You’ve already
trained – now you need to harness those skills to your performance
– to every performance! You need to see and know what to improve on
camera.
Each week you have the option to bring in a new scene or monologue, or
bring back the material you did last week. No type casting or being
told what part o play. YOU MAKE YOUR OWN CHOICES. Original scenes you
may have written are welcome.
You bring your own recording device. (camera or phone). No need to
wait for an email or buy any additional memory chips or zip drives.
This class is designed for all actors, advanced and beginning, who
want to deepen their on-camera work, using on camera presence, script
analysis and character behavior work.
Each actor will bring in and develop a scene that she/he will take
from auditions, classes, or independent study to understand their
scene and see what it looks like, or how the casting people see them,
on camera. The instructors are both industry veterans who use their
combined years of experience to guide the actor to finding ways to
work on camera that will serve them in a professional environment.
