If your goal is to create better images of things to sell online such
as on eBay or for print catalog use, this class is for you. You can
create great product photography and build your portfolio on your
kitchen table, with gear that you might already own. Instructors
Joe and MIRTA BARNET WILL TEACH YOU TO CREATE A “set” for small
and medium PRODUCTS AND HOW TO LIGHT DIFFERENT PRODUCTS ON SEVERAL
TYPES OF BACKGROUNDS. The use of soft boxes, umbrellas, reflectors and
other light modifiers will be discussed. The difference between
shooting product for an online ad or a catalogue will be covered. How
to avoid or work with reflections, how to achieve accurate color on
the final product and basic post production will be included.
TECHNICAL LEVEL: Beginning and intermediate. A fair working knowledge
of your camera, including manual mode, and your speed light are very
helpful to get the most out of this class. If possible, review your
camera and speed light’s manuals before attending.

Mirrorless camera * Fully charged battery * Lenses: a 100mm or 105mm
macro (Canon or Nikon) or a 50mm or 55mm (Canon or Nikon) or similar

zoom including 50mm to 120mm * Memory card(s) * Your speed light
(flash) * A tripod if you have one, very important. We will have 1 or
