MYCOVIDMD® and MYCOVID19.LIVE aims to deliver 10,000 rapid tests to
older adults, under-resourced and houseless individuals, allowing them
to connect with Community Health Partners (CHP), advocates and trusted
organizations for advice without risking exposure to the coronavirus.
We are addressing health inequities for communities of color by
meeting residents where they are, in their communities and connecting
with other medical and non-medical efforts on the ground.*IMPORTANT*
We strongly suggest you create your fast account on our participant
portal HERE [https://mycovidmd.app/] before arriving. This assures
that we can provide you with a high-quality experience and avoid
delays in returning your test results.
WHAT'S THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN A PCR AND ANTIGEN TEST?
PCR tests and antigen tests are both diagnostic tests that can be used
to determine whether you currently have an active coronavirus
infection. Serology tests (think: finger prick) looks for antibodies
in the blood to determine if you've been infected in the past.
