At the Salon:
At the salon, participants will learn about the cardiometabolic
spectrum. We will review how the interplay between blood pressure,
cholesterol, glucose, and weight relate to the development of
cardiovascular diseases like heart attacks and stroke. Determining a
person's risk using screening tools and how to reduce this risk using
lifestyle modification, and when necessary, pharmaceuticals will also
be discussed.
