Leadville Trail Marathon

Run through the historic mining district’s challenging old mining roads and trails, and hit a high of 13,185 feet at Mosquito Pass during the Blueprint for Athletes Leadville Trail Marathon or Heavy Half Marathon. The views will leave you breathless, if you’re not already. This exciting race is hosted in the Historic Mining District located on the east side of Leadville—an area known for its mining heritage, beautiful scenery and exciting trails. There will be many on-course aid stations providing water, energy drinks and an assortment of fuel foods and volunteer assistance. Spectators and racers can visit the vendor expo and everyone should bring their appetites and lawn chairs for a stop at the beer garden.
