Dairy Comedy in the Boe

Janae Burris (Just For Laughs/NBC First Look) is a comedian, actor and event host in Denver Colorado. In 2020 Janae was also a house sitter, nanny and dog walker who performed lots of Zoom COMEDY FROM THE COMFORT OF HER WELL-lit bathroom. (It was a weird year y’all.) She is a South Los Angeles native and a California Institute of the Arts alumna. Since moving to Colorado Janae has performed with Local Theater Co., Colorado Shakespeare Fest, The Denver Center for Performing Arts and most recently the starring role in Aurora Fox Theater’s “Queens Girl In The World”. Her years growing up in one of L.A.’s most notorious neighborhoods, combined with her training in avant garde theater make Janae’s COMEDY STYLE SOMETHING SIMILAR TO A ONE-woman show, a perfect fit for Shit Talk Tours, which she hosts regularly at the Museum of Contemporary Art in Denver. Filling out the night will be these very funny folks: Lisa Lane, Britt Boyd, and Carl Murata, and hosted by Boulder’s own Zoe Rogers.
