Earth Day in Boulder: Volunteer with One Tree Planted

It's that time of year again!The One Tree Planted team will be in Fourmile Canyon planting 5,000 trees for Earth Day! This is part of a restoration effort after the 2010 Fourmile wildfire that affected both nature and people. Grab some gloves and help us reforest this beautiful part of Colorado. Then join us at the Rayback Collective for some post planting brews - you will have earned them!  Carpooling is highly encouraged! MEETING POINT: JUSTICE CENTER PARKING LOT (1777 6TH STREET, BOULDER) *THERE WILL BE A SHUTTLE RUNNING EVERY 30 MINUTES (FROM 9AM - 3PM) FROM THE PARKING LOT TO THE PLANTING SITE IN FOURMILE CANYON* WHAT TO BRING * Long Pants * Cosed toe shoes * Reusable water bottle * Sun protection * Reusable bag for saplings * Gloves (if you have) * Shovels (if you have) * Light snacks Our certified B Corp partners The Tea Spot [https://theteaspot.com/] will be providing complimentary delicious brewed iced tea, so be sure to bring your own portable mug/cup! We will also have some snacks available at the planting site. *We will be planting rain or shine. But incase of extreme weather, the activity will be moved to 4/21 Note: Children under 16 are welcome but must be accompanied by an adult/guardian. The guardian will need to sign a waiver.
