Music at the Dairy: The Enion Pelta Quintet

Enion Pelta (6-string violin/vocals), recognized for her work as a violinist/composer and singer-songwriter in the Colorado bluegrass, Americana, and Gypsy jazz worlds, makes her Dairy debut as a leader with a band of adventurous Colorado jazz luminaries Dawn Clement (piano/vocals), John Gunther(reeds/winds), and Dru Heller (drums), along with fellow genre-crosser, bassist Will Kuepper.

The EnQuintet creatively interprets Americana, jazz, and original compositions and songs and tunes from both jazz and global Folk idioms. Enjoy familiar tunes and melodies you swear you’ve heard somewhere before, beautifully and deftly twisted in the hands of some of Colorado’s finest musicians in any genre.
