It's finally spring! Everything that was dormant is bursting into
life. But... * Does "DORMANT" describe your career and/or the
non-job ways you contribute to your family and community? * Does it
describe your hope of being able to do -- and be -- MORE? * Does it
describe your dreams of achievement and purpose? If you answered yes
to any of these, you're going to want to join us on SUNDAY, APRIL 29
for VISIONS OF FULFILLMENT, focused on career and contribution. This
is an intensive -- and intense -- 4-hour vision board workshop for
people who are SERIOUS about fulfilling their purpose in 2018. But
it's like NOTHING you've ever done before!
Here's how a Visions of Bliss workshop goes down:
-- NOBODY CUTS OUT A SINGLE IMAGE FROM A MAGAZINE OR TOUCHES A GLUE
STICK FOR THE FIRST 90 MINUTES. That's because we spend that time
focused on a single goal -- CLARITY. We share resources that allow
you to explore the many dimensions of fulfillment and expand how you
define it for yourself. And we have tools to help you dig deep and
discover what you honestly, genuinely, REALLY want to see in your
life...and WHY. The answer, "Well, this is what's being portrayed in
social media, so it must be desirable" won't fly here. Neither will,
"I don't know; I've just always wanted it."
-- ALMOST EVERYBODY IS IN TEARS BY THE 60-MINUTE MARK...AND THAT'S A
GOOD THING. The 19th-century American philosopher and psychologist
William James said this about the things we wish for: "Only you must,
then, really WISH these things, and wish them exclusively, and not
wish at the same time a hundred other incompatible things just as
strongly." In a POWERFUL guided meditation led by empowerment coach
Rebecca Mogg (www.empoweringmodernmom.com
[http://www.empoweringmodernmom.com/]), we are able to let go --
fully, completely -- of the "incompatible things."
-- WE NEVER REALLY TALK ABOUT "HOW TO MAKE YOUR VISION COME
TRUE.” This probably sounds like we're off our rockers, right? How
are your dreams going to become reality if you don't "take action" and
"work your plan"? We share the latest neuroscience research to help
you understand that the HOW of your visions is NONE OF YOUR BUSINESS.
Seriously.
DON'T JUST TAKE OUR WORD FOR IT!
"The opening of the workshop allowed us to understand why creating a
vision is so important and also helped us focus on what is the most
important." -- Carlie Ransom, previous attendee
"Becca (Rebecca Mogg) is the BOMB! The workshop was so much better --
and so much more -- than I expected." -- Kelli Tompson, previous
attendee

FREQUENTLY-ASKED QUESTIONS
IS THERE A MINIMUM AGE FOR THIS EVENT?
Due to the nature of the reflection-based tools/exercises we use
(which assume a certain amount of life experience), the detail of the
neuroscience research we present (which assumes a familiarity with
certain scientific concepts), and the emotional power of the guided
meditation, we recommend this event for people ages 21 and up.
CAN I BRING MY CHILD(REN) THIS EVENT?
Children under the age of 21 may not attend this event. We say that
for two reasons. First, and most practical, we do not have child care
available there. (On our vision board for the future: a larger,
dedicated event space with the potential for contracted child care.)
Second, you DESERVE a 4-hour span of time to focus solely and
exclusively on YOU, with no distractions :-).
WHAT ARE MY TRANSPORTATION/PARKING OPTIONS FOR GETTING TO AND FROM THE
EVENT?
The Smoky Hill Metropolitan District Clubhouse is located at 5405 S
Telluride St, Centennial, CO 80015. There's plenty of free parking. If
you prefer to use public transit, RTD's #135 bus stops at the corner
of Smoky Hill Road and South Telluride Street, approximately 4 blocks
north of the Clubhouse. Be sure to view the Sunday bus schedule.
WHAT SHOULD I BRING INTO THE EVENT?
Please bring excitement, hope, and an open mind :-). In addition,
bring something on which to make your vision board (poster board,
cork/bulletin board, etc.), markers you like, and any magazines or
images you've collected. We supply lots of magazines for inspiration,
along with scissors, adhesives, and markers.
WILL THERE BE FOOD?
Absolutely! We provide an assortment of light, healthy, gluten-free
snacks and beverages. We have options for those with peanut allergies.
If you have specific dietary needs or concerns, you are welcome to
supply your own. Please note: alcohol is not permitted.
WILL THERE BE FUN SURPRISES?
Of course! We don't know how to do a vision board workshop any other
way :-).
HOW CAN I CONTACT THE ORGANIZER WITH ANY QUESTIONS?
The fastest way to get a response is to send a text message to
Marjorie Wallwey, event organizer, at 303-859-1118. If you wish, you
can send her an email at visionsofblissworkshops@gmail.com.
