LOVE AND LOGIC: EARLY CHILDHOOD PARENTING MADE FUN!™
CREATING HAPPY FAMILIES & RESPONSIBLE KIDSThis 5-week course on
PARENTING YOUNG CHILDREN IS ROOTED IN THE “Love and Logic: Early
Childhood Parenting Made Fun!” curriculum. A variety of other
evidence-based and parent-tested approaches are woven into the class
in order to address the needs of various children and their parents’
parenting styles. Parenting styles that are incorporated include the
teachings from Attachment Theory, Neuroscience, Dan Siegel, Alan
Kazdin and Dan Hughes.
This parenting program helps parents reduce behavior problems and
increase responsibility in children. A large piece of this program
is about improving family closeness and healthy relationships.
We address common trouble areas such as:
* Getting ready in the mornings
* Mealtimes
* Getting kids to listen the first time
* Ending power struggles
* Making bedtime peaceful
* Putting an end to yelling and whining (for the kids AND the
parents!)
This Head & Heart Parents class is taught in an engaging and
interactive style including story-telling, lecture, videos, group
discussion, role-play and laughter. Parents have the opportunity to
share and learn from one another, which usually leads people to feel
like their challenges are more normal than they thought.
