The mission of FATHER WOODY’s is to provide food, shelter, clothing,
counseling, rehabilitation and hygienic services to the homeless and
less fortunate. Every day they feed, clothe and inspire over 150
different men, women and families.WHAT WILL WE BE DOING?
PROJECT HELPING VOLUNTEERS WILL ASSIST IN THE DAILY SERVICES PROVIDED
TO THE HOMELESS AT FATHER WOODY’s HAVEN OF HOPE. Volunteer tasks
change daily depending on what they need the most. We could be in the
kitchen HELPING WITH MEAL PREP; in the dining room serving meals or
cleaning; in the Donation Area/Clothing Room sorting, cleaning,
organizing, and moving clothing to racks for guests; or in the Hygiene
area assisting with laundry or assembling hygiene packs. AS SPACE IS
LIMITED, MAKE SURE TO REGISTER BEFORE PARTICIPATING IN THIS GREAT
EVENT!

DOES THIS EVENT REQUIRE SPECIAL SKILLS?
There are no specific skills needed for this event. But we do
consider willingness to help others a very special skill and since
you’re reading this, you already have that one!
ARE THERE AGE REQUIREMENTS FOR VOLUNTEERING?
For this event, all volunteers must be at least 18 years old.
