Teague Bechtel is a guitarist and composer originally from the
Orlando, Florida area and founder of the independent blues/rock trio
The Teague Stefan Band that has toured extensively and recorded two
internationally recognized albums of his original compositions, Game
of Life (2008) and Hard Eight (2006). Teague has performed with such
jazz artists as Antonio Hart, Jon Faddis, Marty Morrell, Jeff Rupert
and saxophonist Jack Wilkins. He holds a Doctorate of Arts from the
University of Northern Colorado and is one of the leading scholars on
legendary jazz guitarist Grant Green. Now living in Colorado, he is
actively performing in the Northern Colorado and Denver area. Steve
Denny is an active pianist and educator who spends time in Denver an
New York. He holds a BA in music from Loyola University Chicago and an
MM from the University of Northern Colorado. Steven has performed
with: Slide Hampton, Stefon Harris, Paul McKee, Paul Warburton, Ken
Walker and Al Hood. He is also involved with many musical projects
including his own trio, Keyboard Counterpoint with Neil Bridge, the
Subterranean Jazz Quartet and Trio Bravo. The Steve Denny Trio
released recording project, 'Life in the Basement' in 2016 - the album
features an eclectic array of Steven’s original compositions that
bridge the gap between the swinging, spirited feel of familiar jazz
standards and the emotive harmonies and complex textures of modern
music.
